The FGE team spent last week at Emperor’s Palace Johannesburg for Wastecon 2016. The theme for the entire exhibition was “The changing face of waste management” which highlighted recent waste management policy and legislative changes in South Africa as well a line-up of industry expert speakers.

We were extremely proud of our very own Green Energy Development manager, Justin Butt, who was one of these speakers and his presentation on “Waste to Energy – A case study in Cape Town” was well received and further emphasized the opportunity for and importance of renewable energy in South Africa.

Our stand was very busy and we thoroughly enjoyed connecting with so many other likeminded individuals in the industry.
